In order to prove that reishi spore powder can lower blood fats, scientists have conducted many related experiments.

In a human clinical trial conducted by the Academy of Military Medical Sciences and Fuwai Hospital, 160 patients with hyperlipidemia were clinically treated with a reishi spore powder in a clinic and ward.

The dosage of reishi spore powder was 50 mg twice daily. One month is a course of treatment, most of them take 2 courses.

The results showed that reishi spore powder had a very good effect on regulating blood fats, the total effective rate of reducing total cholesterol was 71.4%; the total effective rate of reducing low density lipoprotein was 71.4%. The total effective rate of increasing high-density lipoprotein was 87.5%.

In addition, the symptoms of hematuria, platelets, blood glucose, urea nitrogen, uric acid, and electrocardiogram were not found during the trial.

From the results of this experiment, reishi spore powder significantly reduced total cholesterol and low-density lipoproteins in patients with hyperlipidemia, at the same time increased high-density lipoproteins, which have a positive effect on lipid reduction.

Reishi spore powder can increase high-density lipoprotein, which is obviously fat-raising, not lipid-lowering.

There are two types of lipoproteins in blood fats. One is low-density lipoprotein, which is responsible for carrying cholesterol throughout the body. But it often does some “bad things”.

If LDL is oxidized, it and the cholesterol it carries can easily accumulate on the walls of arterial blood vessels. The more they accumulate, the more they become arteriosclerosis.

The second is high-density lipoprotein. High-density lipoprotein is good protein. It is responsible for transporting cholesterol back to the liver for metabolism and bile acids. A good thing is that it lowers cholesterol, so the higher the HDL, the better.

In addition, the safety of reishi spore powder is also very high during lipid-lowering. We proved it from the normal hematuria and platelets of the patient during the trial.

The medicines used for lipid-lowering, such as statins and fibrates, have side effects on the human body, such as gastrointestinal reactions and myositis.

Therefore, reishi spore powder with significant lipid-lowering effect can lower blood fats in patients with hyperlipidemia.
