The constituents of reishi spore oil include triterpenoids, unsaturated fatty acids, organic germanium, nucleosides, part of polysaccharides and proteins.
Fatty Acids
18 fatty acids were found in reishi spore oil by the analysis of gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer(GC-MS), including 6 unsaturated fatty acids, 7 saturated fatty acids, hexanoic acid, octanoic acid and azelaic acid. Quantitative analysis showed that total unsaturated fatty acids was 73.6%. They include oleic acid (C18:1), linoleic acid (C18:2), palmitoleic acid (C16:1) and linolenic acid (C18:3). The total triterpene content of reishi spore oil extracted by supercritical CO2 was as high as 30%.
Reishi Polysaccharides
The polysaccharides of ganoderma lucidum include BN3B1, BN3B3, GLA2, GLA4, GLB2, GLB3, GLC2, T GLB1, T GLB8, TGLB10, TGLP-2, T GLP-3, T GLP-6, TGLP-7, etc. Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides are composed of D-glucose, D-galactose, D-mannose, D-xylose, L-fucose, L-rhamnose and L-arabinose.
Reishi Triterpenoids
Triterpenoids are the main bitter components in reishi spore oil. There are approximately 130
triterpenes in reishi spore oil, including ganoderma acid A, B, C, D, E, G, I, L, Ma, Mb, Mc, Md, Mg. Besides them, triterpenoids include ganoderic acid A、B、C、D、E、F. And also ganolactone, ganoderma acid DM, ganoderma acid E, 24-(E)-dienyl-lanoste-26-ol, ganoderma lucidum, ganoderma lucidum, DM, tsuagric acid A, tsuagric acid B, ganoderma acid A and lucidenic acid.
Trace Elements and Other Components
Reishi spore oil contains a variety of trace elements such as molybdenum, zinc, cadmium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, iron, phosphorus, boron, magnesium, calcium, copper selenium, and germanium. The abundance of organic germanium and selenium are especially helpful to maintain human health. Additionally, reishi spore oil contains vitamin E, carotenoids, adenosine, guanosine and ganoderma glycosides.
